Truth is if you’re not already using Article Marketing for your business your leaving money on the table.  You see, Article Marketing is free which is about as cost effective as it gets, it also means that anyone can do it which is great if you don’t have a huge marketing budget.

The process is incredibly simple you write an informative article, include a resource box with your call to action and your website URL and then distribute your article, told you simple.

There are many benefits to Article marketing for starters it has the potential to go viral which will in turn increase traffic to your website, increase sign-ups and sales and helps to build your credibility.  I suggest to anyone who wants to establish themselves as an expert in their field or niche that you take full advantage of all that Article Marketing has to offer.

For those of you who are worried about Article Marketing because you believe you lack the necessary writing skills then let me tell you something, I never considered myself a writer either and yet I got my very first article published by an extremely well known Article Directory on my very first submission.  Now I don’t say this to brag but to let you know that anyone can do it.  I’m so glad I took the time to give it a go, because the feeling you get when you accomplish something that you were not confident that you could and you realize you can do it, you did do it, is the best feeling in the world.

You don’t have to be an Article Marketing guru to write articles, you become a guru by writing articles.

Don’t let another day go by with you not benefiting from the effectiveness of Article Marketing.  Let me tell you for the future of your business, this is an area of marketing that you need to learn every aspect of.  The sooner you get started the sooner your articles can start working for you driving traffic to you website and increasing your business.

Auto-Responders

What is an Auto-responder… and do you have one…?

An Auto-responder is a program that automatically sends out email reminders to people that progress through your marketing system. What I mean by that is when people visit your website, they will come across something commonly referred to in the online marketing world as an opt-in form. This is usually a place on your website where people will enter their name and email address in order to receive more information about your product or service. Maybe they subscribe to your newsletter or they opt-in to receive deals or discounts that you offer from time to time.

Either way someone comes to your website fills in their name and email address and have now not only become a lead they have also automatically been added to your list of leads, i.e. a list of many people who have given you their names and email addresses. Next the Auto-responder sends out an email asking the person to confirm that it was them that entered their email address into your website.  This ultimately gives you the permission to send them things that you feel might be of interest to them.  They also have the option to unsubscribe at any time via a link at the bottom of the page.

Inside your auto-responder you will create a list of leads that have opted into your website, you then create a set of pre-written emails or emails you prepared earlier.. You can now set the auto-responder to send out your pre-written emails as often as you like, you could set it to send them out everyday, every couple of days once a week or even once a month.

There’s no need for dates as the Auto-responder sends the emails out in order example email 1 day 1 and then email 2 three days later email 3 etc.  This means that it doesn’t matter whether someone subscribes now, 3 months from now or 3 months ago they will still get the emails in the same order as everyone else on your list got them.  However you can still send a new email whenever you have something new to add. It’s totally up to you how often you want to contact your list and offer them something of value, whether that be a physical product or a service that you are offering, or even educational information on a topic that would be helpful to your visitors.

So let’s brake it down again, people come to your website enter their names and email addresses then your auto-responder captures that information in the form of a list, then your auto-responder starts sending out all of your pre-written emails at certain intervals to that list.

The beauty of this is that if somebody opts-into your website from the other side of the world at 4 am they will instantly be sent an email by your auto-responder rather then having to wait until you check your emails and get back to them.

Instead your auto-responder is kind of like your personal assistant working for you 24/7 making sure your leads are never feeling under appreciated, it’s a program that automatically sends out your emails for you leaving you with more time for other important tasks.

I hope this was helpful…

Domain Names

What is a domain name and why do we need one for online business

A domain name is your online business address, this is what people will type into the search engines to arrive at your website/business.  Everybody needs a domain name whether for an online business, an organisation or a personal blog.   It is the first step to owning your own piece of real estate on the Internet, the best part is its yours to keep for as long as you like you own it…

Once your domain name is registered you can use it to create websites, sell products, post photo’s and video’s basically anything that relates to your business or blog etc.  When choosing a domain name get creative have fun with it, but make sure it will be something that fits what your website is about. Once you have chosen your domain name, you would be wise to register it straight away especially if it’s one that fits perfectly because if you leave it to long someone else might register it instead and since all domains are unique you could miss out, so best just to get in first…

Another great feature to getting your domain name is email, did you know that you can get an email address with your domain if you choose to. Your email could look something like yourname@yourdomain.com for personal blogs or they could look like this support@yourdomain.com for an online business or an organisation…

So where do you go to register a domain name, there are many places that you can go to register your domain. The best thing to do is shop around to see who has the best prices and features to suit you, I am currently using GoDaddy.com it is the worlds number 1 domain name registrar and its fast easy fun and affordable..
